Acrobatic Gymnastics Coach Workshop

We are pleased to have Don Holmes from Oakville Gymnastics in Ontario to facilitate this Acro workshop for our province.  This workshop is open to any coaches who are interested in learning more about Acrobatic gymnastics.  The workshop will include the following topics:

• sample training plans/ideas that clubs who are just starting Acro programs can use
• age ranges, training hours, basics and development for compulsory levels
• identifying key basic skills that are commonly used for higher level skills in optional levels
• grip demonstrations
• routine composition/building a routine for introductory optional levels
• flexibility/conditioning for Acro balances not common to Artistic gymnastics
