Gym Sask is pleased to announce that Kendra Embury from the Regina Rhythmic Gymnastics Club in Regina has been chosen to develop the mass routine for the 2019-2020 season. We are very excited to have Kendra bring her experience and energy to this role. Kendra has been a head coach with Regina Rhythmic Gymnastics Club for 10 years and has experience creating and teaching routines to groups in a wide range of ages. This year Kendra will be developing a mass routine for the Fundamentals Stage of athletes. In this stage, participants continue to develop and master the fundamental movement patterns in multi-gymnastics (i.e. all gym disciplines) environment. The gymnast masters fundamental movement skills before sport-specific skills are introduced. The Fundamental Movement Patterns gain quality, definition and refinement as the basis for building gym-specific skills. Basic skills should be introduced. This fundamental stage is the second out of four mass routine levels in Saskatchewan (Active Start-Fundamentals-Specialization – Gym for Life).

Please help us in congratulating Kendra –  We look forward to experiencing your mass routine for the first time at this year’s mass routine workshop!

This year’s Mass Routine Workshop will be on October 6, 2019, at Ritmo Gymnastics in Saskatoon.  Go to the event on our website for more details: http://gymsask.com/event/mass-routine-workshop-gym-for-life-workshop/
