2024 TG Western Canada Cup
2024 Western Canada Cup – Trampoline Gymnastics
Hosted by Gymnastics Saskatchewan
May 24-26, 2024
Regina Fieldhouse (1717 Elphinstone St)
Regina, SK - Gymnastics Saskatchewan is pleased to announce the hosting of the upcoming TG Western Canada Cup. Set to take place this weekend, this championship event will gather the finest trampoline and tumbling athletes from across British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. Participants, aged anywhere from 9-22 years, will compete in four events: trampoline, synchronized trampoline, double mini-trampoline, and tumbling.
With a rich history of hosting prestigious gymnastics competitions, including the recent 2024 Western Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships and the 2024 Artistic Elite Canada, Gymnastics Saskatchewan continues its legacy of hosting excellence in the sport.
Hosting this event in Regina also proves to be a great opportunity for our local athletes to compete in their home province. "I am very grateful and honored to represent Saskatchewan as a T&T athlete. I am very thankful for my family, friends, teammates, and coaches for always being supportive. My role model in my journey is Hannah Metheral [current National team member]. My advice for young aspiring gymnasts is to work hard, be determined and you can achieve your dreams," shares Aquinnah Barlow from Gymnastics Adventure in Regina, who was named to Team Saskatchewan for the competition earlier this season.
Highlights of the event will include:
· Participation of 4 provincial teams and 27 club teams
· Male and female athletes aged 9-22 years
· Four events - trampoline, synchronized trampoline, double mini-trampoline, tumbling
· Individual event, all-around, and team competition in Levels 1-4
· Level 4 competition serves as a qualifier for the Canadian Championships
