A one-time online course that can be completed from the comfort of your own home. Both Gymnastics Saskatchewan and Sask Sport require that all coaches in Saskatchewan complete this course.

Respect in Sport – How to Guide (July 2020)

Sask Sport has expanded its partnership with the Respect Group Inc. to include a Respect in Sport Resource Line.  This toll-free service provides bilingual response to calls, texts or emails by expert staff who will guide you to the necessary resources pertaining to:

  • child and youth maltreatment
  • bullying
  • hazing
  • national/provincial child and youth protection laws, and
  • organization-specific risk management and dispute resolution models.

In the event you are faced with a situation involving maltreatment and are unsure how to proceed, the Respect Resource Line is confidential and anonymous, and available 365 days per year to assist through the below platforms:

MAKE ETHICAL DECISIONS
Helps coaches identify the legal, ethical and moral implications of situations that present themselves in the world of individual and team sport. By taking the Gymnastics Foundations Theory course, you will have gained the knowledge and information required to complete the Online Evaluation
